As mentioned in part 2, it makes a big difference whether you go camping or stay overnight in hotels. And certainly if you are driving as a duo, you will need to chose what should and should not be included in the luggage.

Traveling with the motorbike (part 2): preparing the route

Preparing the route

In part 1 we stopped to explain how to prepare the route.

Now we will go a little further into this. Preparing the route in detail is the most time-consuming part of the preparation. However, by doing this extensively you will have it a lot easier during the trip itself, all you can look up in advance you don’t have it to do along the way. So be sure to take the time to prepare your route properly!

Traveling with the motorbike (part 1)

In this way I want to answer a few questions that come back regularly from people who want to travel with the motorbike.

First let me introduce myself.

I am Guy Liebert, 50 years old and I have been riding with my bike since I was a child.

At the age of 20 bought a first motorcycle, a Yamaha XJ 750 then switch around my 28 years on a Yamaha V-max 1200.

Valentino Rossi signed his contract for 2019 !

The information is as important as it is brief: Valentino Rossi would have already found an agreement to renew for another year his contract with Yamaha, which expires at the end of 2018.

Officially, questioned on the subject, the Italian driver has provided this weekend his usual answer: he will be there in 2019 if his first results 2018 are at the height of his expectations.
